After playing with heroku for few weeks while wrestling with my fb app for research, I built a web app I always wanted. It was easier than I thought. All I had to do was editing few files in few different projects and firing up a heroku app. So now I got my own web app to download videos from various different sites. There are few bugs to iron out. But the app seems stable enough to use.
After 2 months since public release Train Buddy now have more than 100 total installs. I know it’s not much. But it’s just another app (yet), to view train schedule in Srilanka with a updated UI. So thank you, each and every one who installed the train buddy.
After few months of beta testing, today I have released the Train Buddy app to public. Train Buddy is a android app for getting the train schedule of Srilankan trains and view the current status (location and speed) of the train. You can learn more from the Google play app description.
